As a certified member, Mr. Battino has successfully completed a comprehensive certification examination in theory and methodology, as well as in the specialty of numismatics. This credential is one that few numismatists have achieved and offers assurance of the highest qualifications as a certified appraiser of rare coins and other numismatic items. The combination of extensive experience as a professional numismatist and expertise as a certified appraiser is rare indeed.
In addition, Mr. Battino has successfully completed a 15-hour course and examination on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPSP) January 28-29, 2008, effective through January 2013, and a 7-hour course on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the Congressionally-recognized set of appraisal standards promulgated by the Appraisal Foundation: completed on July 25, 2011, effective through July 25, 2013.
